2011-03-23 PennEnvironment Meeting – Pittsburgh, PA
March 23, 2011 (Wed) – 6:30 pm
Penn Environment office – Squirrel Hill
1831 Murray Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217
We’ll have a presentation by a photographer who took photos of gas drilling sites in a recent National Geographic article.
There has been a lot in the news lately on gas drilling, from an explosion that seriously injured three people to reports of radioactive drilling water being put into our drinking water sources. We need to demonstrate continued public support for more protections for our health and environment from gas drilling – we’ll do this by educating more people about the issue, taking our case to the media, and pushing our elected leaders to do more. In order to do this, we need the help of dedicated citizen volunteers.
Please RSVP by replying to: mward@pennenvironment.org
