A presentation, Gas Drilling: A Community Forum, will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 7 pm – 8:30 pm, at the Virgil School on Rte. 392, Virgil. This event is free and open to the public. Do You Have Questions About Gas Drilling And Its Impacts On The Community William Podulka, PhD Physicist, will explain the process of shale gas drilling. He will also talk about the possible economic impacts on our area. Mary Jane Uttech, The Deputy Director of the Cortland County Health Department, will speak about the potential impacts to drinking water, air quality, and public health.
