Complimentary Luncheon Seminar by Trinity Consultants: Overview of Finalized Rules for the Oil and Natural Gas Industry
Trinity will provide an overview of the suite of regulations affecting the oil and natural gas industry that were proposed by U.S. EPA in July 2011 and expected to be finalized in April 2012. This overview will cover the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) for VOC and SO2 under 40 CFR 60 ubpart OOOO, as well as the related amendments to National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPs) for the production, transmission, and storage sectors under 40 CFR 63 Subparts HH and HHH. The instructor will guide attendees through the basic requirements of each of these regulations, and will discuss the latest regulatory updates, highlighting key aspects of each rule and the types of facilities and sources that may be subject.
Pertinent comments received during the comment period, as well as EPA’s response, will be discussed. The session will focus on practical strategies for managing, demonstrating, and documenting compliance with the various emissions standards, monitoring, recordkeeping, and notification/reporting requirements that are outlined in these rules.
Location and directions will be provided within 10 days of the event.
