Today is Last Day to Contact PA DEP re Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline

| | | | |

please helpMDN sent an email to our list of daily headline subscribers last week (below). This is a quick reminder that today is the last day to show your support for the Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline project, being built by Williams, to the Pennsylvania Dept. of Environmental Protection. How? Just click this link and fill out the brief form to add your name to a letter being sent to the DEP. It will take you less than 60 seconds. It’s a small thing you can do to help this project get built–and to beat back the anti-fossil fuel naysayers. Please do it right now, as soon as you read this. Here’s the original letter we sent last week…

Dear MDN Friend,

As someone who cares about the economic and energy future of Pennsylvania, and of our beloved country, I need your help. Please sign this online letter to tell the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) before August 1, 2016 that Atlantic Sunrise is a key piece of energy infrastructure. It will take you less than 60 seconds!

Atlantic Sunrise is a critical infrastructure investment badly needed in Pennsylvania due to a lack of existing pipeline capacity. Atlantic Sunrise will help millions of Americans gain access to affordable, reliable, environmentally responsible and domestically produced Marcellus Shale gas. It will also provide many short- and long-term economic benefits, such as jobs, taxes and countless business investment opportunities.

Now is the time to tell the PA DEP that Atlantic Sunrise will not only help Pennsylvania maintain environmental momentum, but it will also help accelerate it by providing more people, utilities and businesses access to a ready supply of Pennsylvania-produced natural gas that can meet around-the-clock energy needs affordably and reliably.

Please take a moment right now to add your name to the letter of support to the PA DEP regarding Atlantic Sunrise’s permit application. Adding your name to the letter of support will undoubtedly send a strong message to Harrisburg that the Atlantic Sunrise project is critical to Pennsylvania’s future.

Sincerely,
Jim Willis
