Antero Resources 3Q14: Shorter Stage Lengths Yield 20-30% More Gas

Earlier this week Antero Resources, one of the largest drillers in the Marcellus/Utica, released their third quarter numbers along with an operational update. The company reports their new strategy of using shorter stage lengths (SSLs) when fracking wells has resulted in better producing wells--like 20-30% more productive than a non-SSL well.
