Some earthshattering news to share: Gulfport Energy CEO John Reinhart just up and quit last Friday. He resigned his post as President and CEO of the company and his membership on the board of directors. Gone. Just like that. Gulfport issued a press release yesterday to say it's no big deal, that Timothy J. Cutt, who is Chairman of the board and the former CEO before Reinhart, will fill in while a search is conducted. But, it is a big deal. The question is, why did Reinhart abruptly quit?
