Recap of Shale Insight 2025 Event – Locate Data Centers Near NatGas

The annual Shale Insight 2025 event, held in Erie, PA, recently concluded (September 16-18). There were many top-notch speakers, including executives from Expand Energy, Southern Company Gas, EQT, Repsol, MPLX, PennEnergy Resources, and National Fuel Gas Company (Seneca Resources). The closing keynote was delivered by Doug Burgum, U.S. Interior Secretary and Chairman of the National Energy Dominance Council. He uttered what has to be one of the best lines at the event: “Generate the electricity where you’ve got available gas. Turn the electricity into intelligence, ship the intelligence out on a fiber cable.”
