UN’s Net Zero Banking Alliance Finally Crashes and Burns (Disbands)

|
In January, MDN brought you the great news that the six largest banks in the United States had canceled their memberships in the awful Net Zero Banking Alliance (NZBA), a group of woke banks under the umbrella of the equally terrible United Nations (see Largest Bank in U.S. Drops Out of UN’s Net Zero Banking Alliance). Leaving the NZBA is a clear signal that Big Banks are once again not discriminating against fossil fuel companies in granting credit and loans. Although U.S. banks abandoned the NZBA, major banks from Europe and other regions continued to support it. Or rather, they did support it. The remaining members of NZBA voted Friday to cease operations and shift to a guidance-based model immediately. Complete and total victory!
