Report: 7 Key U.S. Shale Plays & the Top Drillers in Each Play

Energy Advisors Group (EAG) is a Houston-based advisory firm specializing in oil and gas property brokerage, asset divestment, and technical services for upstream and midstream energy companies. Since 1988, they have completed over 1,000 transactions, providing services like data room hosting, prospect marketing, and valuation. Last week, EAG released its latest Industry Report, a review of 7 Regional Resource Plays, including: Appalachia Basin, Haynesville, Delaware Basin, Midland Basin, Bakken, Eagle Ford, & SCOOP/STACK. Together, the seven plays account for 80% of U.S. natural gas (93 Bcf/d) and 63% of U.S. oil (8.8 MMBop/d). There is some terrific information in this report, including a list of the "top 35" drillers in the Marcellus/Utica.
