For our final Shale Insight 2026 post, we set aside prices, pipelines, and permits and focus on people. Speakers in Erie told stories about boilermakers told six years ago to retrain for renewables who are now building the country's largest gas-fired power campus, and about dairy farm kids in Bradford County who never thought they could afford a house and now run Repsol's Marcellus operations. It was a reminder of who shale is really for.
