Update: Wisconsin Approves $2.2B in Gas Plants for Data Centers

Back on Sept. 2, we told you about Invenergy's plan to build two big gas-fired power plants in Brillion, Wisconsin (see WI Gas Plant Plan Could Pull More Marcellus Gas Westward). In that post, we mentioned that two other Invenergy gas plants were already in line ahead of the Brillion pair. Those two just cleared their biggest hurdle. On Thursday, the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) approved both. More gas-fired power for the Midwest means more pull on our Marcellus/Utica gas heading west.
