Walker's Cay - Bahamas
A tiny LNG plant sitting on a rail yard outside Miami just picked up a new customer 200 miles offshore — and there's a decent chance some of the gas it liquefies started life in a Susquehanna County well bore. Sawgrass LNG & Power announced last Tuesday that it has begun supplying LNG to Walker's Cay, the storied sportfishing island at the northern tip of the Bahamas, replacing diesel as the fuel for the island's power generation.
