US Passes Russia to Become World’s Biggest Crude Oil Producer

For a number of years the United States has been the #1 producer of natural gas in the world, bumping Russia off that perch. Vladimir Putin didn't like it. And now, as of this year (according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration), the good ole US of A is the #1 producer of crude oil, dethroning Russia from that perch too.
