This is a major disappointment. Bernard McNamee, the former head of the Department of Energy’s Office of Policy, was approved to be the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's (FERC) newest commissioner in December 2018 (see U.S. Senate Confirms McNamee to FERC with 50-49 Vote).
