Joe Manchin Can Partially Atone for His IRA Sin by Blocking Glick

| | | |
U.S. Senator Joe Manchin, Democrat from West Virginia, ended his political future when he sold out the country by voting in favor of the misnamed Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which is actually a mini-Green New Deal bill (see Joe Manchin Cuts MVP “Deal” in Return for Selling Out Country). Manchin's sellout caused him to become a pariah with WV voters--justifiably so (see WV Sen. Joe Manchin 3rd Most Unpopular U.S. Senator in the Country). It won't erase the huge damage that's been done, and it won't salvage his obliterated political career, but if Joe Manchin wants to at least make an effort to right the wrongs he has done, he can make a good start by blocking the reappointment of Richard "Dick" Glick as a FERC commissioner.
