PA State Sen. Nick Pisciottano - pro-fracking and pro-injection well...for geothermal
It's distasteful to have to expose the energy lies of the Democrat left, but you need to know about those lies so you know how to counter their hypocrisy (and vote against them) in November. Here's another lie exposed: Dems hate and demagogue fracking when it's used for oil and gas wells, but they love the VERY SAME fracking for geothermal wells. The same thing holds for "injection wells." Dems lambast injection wells used to inject brine (water from the deep depths of the earth that comes out of the borehole long after drilling is done) back where it came from in the first place. Yet they love injecting water into geothermal wells---turning that water into brine! Last week, State Senator Nick Pisciottano (D-Allegheny) introduced Senate Bill (SB) 1131, legislation "to establish a regulatory framework to support the development of next-generation geothermal energy in Pennsylvania." Pisciottano is endorsed by the radical Sierra Club as someone who "balances" protecting union jobs with stiff environmental policies. He supports Gov. Josh Shapiro's so-called "LIGHTNING Plan" that favors wind and solar over natural gas. Yet he's introduced a pro-fracking, pro-injection well geothermal bill? BUSTED---as a hypocrite.
