FERC Speeds Enviro Assessment for Constitution Pipe – Due by Aug 21
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) isn't letting any grass grow under its feet regarding the advancement of the Constitution Pipeline, a 125-mile greenfield pipeline from the Marcellus gas fields of Susquehanna County, PA, to Schoharie County, NY, to deliver Marcellus gas into New York State and New England. FERC is actively reviewing two requests related to reviving the project (see FERC Takes New Look at Constitution Pipeline Before Reissuing Cert). Last week, FERC set a schedule to complete an environmental assessment (EA) for the proposed Constitution Pipeline and the associated Wright Interconnect project, with a deadline of August 21.To view this content, log into your member account.
