3 Old Hippies Convicted of Blocking MVP in Va., Fined $1K Each
In July MDN told you about three senior citizen protesters who parked a hippie-mobile across a narrow road where workers travel to work on the 92% complete Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) in Roanoke County, Virginia (see 3 Old Hippies Block MVP Work in Va. – Arrested & Removed). County police ensured the old hippies still had a pulse and were hydrated, then a few hours later (to give them ample time to enjoy themselves), arrested and hauled them away. On Monday they had their day in court. After pleading innocent, they were all found guilty and fined $1,000 each for their geriatric stunt.
