Easements for Canceled Atlantic Coast Pipe Still Active in WV, VA
In July the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approved a plan by Dominion Energy to clean up and “undo” the work done for the company's previous Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP) project (see FERC Approves Plan to Restore Aborted Atlantic Coast Pipe ROW). Dominion canceled the project in July 2020 and then promptly sold off all of its interstate pipeline business to Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway. However, the right of ways for the pipeline, where a lot of work had been done, still belongs to Dominion and the company needs to finish tidying things up.
