National Grid Surrenders, Dumping Fossil Energy in NY-MA by 2050
If you still live in New York or Massachusetts and National Grid is your utility company, now is the time to move. Preferably to another state. National Grid has finally waved the white flag of surrender to the leftist mob that demands the elimination of all fossil energy. National Grid will force its customers to quit using fuel oil and “non-renewable” natural gas by 2050 at the latest–forcing its customers to use electric heat pumps instead. By our estimates, National Grid customers can expect to pay 4-5X more than anyone else for their energy. Escape while you can!

Despots and dictators the world over are the same, whether it’s Vladimir Putin relabeling his naked aggression of outright war against Ukraine a “military operation,” or New York State’s so-called Climate Action Council relabeling natural gas as “fossil gas.” Tyrants seek to relabel those things they can’t control in an attempt to pressure, hoodwink, and manipulate the masses–to force others into doing what they (the tyrants) want done. The Communists who run NY state can’t convince the population to self-immolate by giving up the use of natural gas, so they’re changing the language, hoping to convince more people to go along with their harebrained plan to dump the use of all “fossil fuels.” The left’s plan is energy suicide and a majority of New Yorkers instinctively know it.
Although a number of publicly-traded oil and natural gas companies have gone along with so-called ESG (environmental, social, and governance) programs and have pledged to reduce their so-called carbon footprint by X percentage by Y date, apparently O&G companies are not genuflecting far enough or fast enough for Big Green Nazis like Bloomberg. The latest laughable tactic we’ve noticed is that Bloomberg has taken to carbon-shaming, you know, like fat-shaming–the use of ridicule and bullying as a pressure tactic to imply a person isn’t “enough” because of their weight (or race, or economic status, or carbon emanations). Leftists like Bloomberg “News” are so predictable–they always fall into the same tired routines. Are oil and gas companies not dancing to your tune? Tom Wolf wants to force his state (against the will of a majority of residents) to join the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), a carbon tax, is that it will supposedly cut down the state’s emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), which is supposedly causing Mom Earth to toast (see 
Anti-fossil fuel zealots who irrationally hate all fossil energy, including natural gas, are beside themselves that three new electric power plants are planned for New Jersey. Two would use natural gas as their fuel source, while the third plant plans to use renewables of some kind. Yet antis are freaking out. Two of the planned plants would be for emergency/backup use only and will sit idle 99% of the time. Doesn’t matter: freak out. The remaining plant would produce 630 megawatts of electricity using Marcellus natgas, a relatively small plant (sitting next to an existing plant). Doesn’t matter: freak out. The solution proposed by the naysayers? Just go without electricity. Sit in the dark. Freeze in the winter and boil in the summer.

What is obvious is that Wolf’s attempt to force the state to join RGGI is now on a very long pause, until more court cases are filed. The end game (for Republicans) is to run out the clock until a new governor is elected in November (hopefully a Republican). Either that, or convince the 5-2 liberal majority of the PA Supreme Court (which is likely where this will end up) to rule against Wolf’s unilateral attempt to force the state into the RGGI compact.
